Video Game Scams

I am sure we have all dealt with some kind of online scam before they are so much more common now. An online scam I dealt with is with a video game I used to play a lot. It had an in-game currency and of course this was a long time ago when I was younger and didn’t have any money. So of course, when I see an ad for free currency in game, I’m going to do it I thought it sounded too good to be true and of course it was. I only realized after I had given them all of my information like my address and full name and things like that and done a bunch of surveys that didn’t really make much sense. I learned my lesson though and have never done anything like that again. Some signs to look for that if it says its free it’s probably not and it is definitely too good to be true. If it makes you do a bunch of pointless surveys or asks for any personal information, it’s definitely fake.
